(Playing Wilson in 'Don't Starve Shipwrecked' on iOS 16.1.2 in german version)
Issue: I created a tar extractor over an tar slick and fueled it with wood or twigs, but no tar extraction happens.
Analysis: The tar extractor is placed exactly on the tar slick, but doesn't seem to appear exactly on it after it had been crafted. I built three tar extractors and fueled them, but it never worked. I couldn't find any related information in how-to-manuals or -videos, wether I'm doing something wrong or this is an issue.
1. Go to tar slick.
2. Craft tar extractor.
3. Place tar extractor over tar slick.
4. Fuel tar extractor with wood or twigs.
5. Nothing happens. I also came back next day, but there was no extracted tar.
