A lot of the time, when you enter the volcano in Shipwrecked. the season (not the day count) will change. For example I entered the volcano on day 13 (during Mild season) and ended up on day 13 during hurricane season. It was still hurricane season when I left the volcano. Another example is when I entered the volcano during dry season on day 58(around) and it was mild season (still day 58) when I entered. I really hope this gets fixed since it completely messes up the pacing of the game and makes it (for me) unplayable. It doesn't happen all the time though. From my experience it might be 80%. The images show regular Mild season (on day 10) before I found the volcano. Second image shows hurricane season (on day 13) after I entered the volcano.
1. Play Don't Starve: Shipwrecked on the Nintendo Switch.
2. Enter the volcano.
3. Note the change in season.
