Revenge of invisible frogs

Dear Sir/Madam,

as much as I would like this title to just be a joke, it is not. I finally got the singleplayer edition of the game, with SW and RoG. Sadly, the first world began in spring, and after finding a box thing in the swamps and creating my first outpost, invisible frogs started a joint attack. I am certain this is just a visual glitch: I can see their shadows, but not their bodies. And frankly, it is incredibly hard to dodge the attacks of an invisible foe.

I am attaching the screenshot. You can see there is a frog stalking me near the blowdart. Some of its fiendish friends are visible, most are not.

What steps can I undertake to see my enemy?
