Help! Screen Crashes every time i craft my weapon

Pretty far in on my adventure, but each time i try to craft wigfrid's helmet or spear this message pops up and i'm forced to restart the client. Any help that doesn't require me to lose my saved data would be absolutely helpful

Crafting a weapon or helmet
Go to bugs
