Crocodogs appearing even when turned off

I prefer to turn off the hounds/crocodogs since there are already so many other ways to die and it's hard to enjoy the game while having to deal with paranoia. This seems to function just fine with the other iterations of the game. However, with Shipwrecked, I've played multiple times with the crocodogs set to "none" and still been attacked on days 9-14, with several different characters and with various other world settings. (Which is a shame, as I really enjoy the island-hopping aspect of Shipwrecked, but there doesn't feel like any point in playing as long as the crocodogs keep showing up.)


Steps to Reproduce
Set crocodogs to "none" in the world settings and then just play the game as usual.
