This can happen to hail as well. Normally its not much of a deal cause it is just a hail and it melt and disappear after a while. However when it happens to be a boss item it hurts alittle lol.

Steps to Reproduce
Happens when sealnado is killed near the pond.
Go to bugs

Doh. There's not quick solution to prevent that from happening at the moment.

But you could spawn a new one where you can get it and not feel too bad about it ;)
