If you are in the boat (possibly equipping navigadget) and equip an equipment and then you drop in the sea, it will appear as if you were still equipping, but you are not equipping
Steps to Reproduce
1) Equip a weapon and throw it away 2) Possibly hold Wheeler's navigadget 3) after some time it is possible to see the character equipping, even having thrown away
