Science machine not working - build tabs don’t appear in proximity.

I just built a science machine and it won’t allow me to interact with it. I am unable to refine resources or build any structures from it. 

I have tried hammering it and rebuilding it to no effect. 

I also closed the game and reloaded it.

Steps to Reproduce
The only thing I can imagine is that I prefabricated it earlier but didn’t place it until day 18, so maybe something happened within that time that bugged it?

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
Electroely

Due to the way crafting stations work, you can only use one at a time. In this case, the key is closer (as it is literally inside you) and it thus prioritized over the science station.
