Left stone egg in a chest in my house, Ro Bin started spawning from it uncontrollably. Took the egg out after 6 spawns but it showed no sign of stopping on its own.

Steps to Reproduce
Got taken to bird island, got egg, literally just put in the chest in my house and 5-6 days later i came back to one spawned, sat there for a moment and others began coming out repeatedly. Removing the egg from the chest stopped this. (I have no mods installed)
