gnat fly freak out

hello! there seems to be a weird thing going on with the gnat flies where, if a swarm doesnt have a target/youre not near them, they fly in a really jittery way, like their animation is stuck on the first three frames. they dont attack any of the pigs, and their animation is normal once i get close to them.

i think this only happens after a swarms attention breaks off the character, because the other swarms in the iron biomes seemed to fly without jitters. im not even entirely sure if this is a bug, it just seemed like a weird occurrence.
