Exit pigshop into middle of cloud map

I went into my nearest pig shop first thing in the morning, but exited rather quickly. It exited me to the complete middle of the fog map, in front of a seemingly never ending pile of lost relics. I could walk across the fog, but once at the edge of the map I could not return to the actual land. I exited and restarted that load, but was spawned in the same unpassable location. 
The pig shop was in the middle of town, not near an edge. Something screwed up as I exited.
