I had a crockpot and an icebox in my house. When I placed a rug under these items for decoration, they stopped working - couldn't use crockpot or open icebox. I thought perhaps the rug was interfering with their function and hammered it. The crockpot and icebox work again. I also have a chest near a window I placed, and it is difficult to open. I have to hover very slowly around the item to get the "open chest" option.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a crockpot and then use the renovation menu to place a rug under it. It did take a few in game days but eventually the crockpot and icebox stopped working. When I hammered the rug, they were usable again.
