Grass field spontaneously catching on fire

I was standing still above a grass field right before night and the grass field below me suddenly caught on fire and burnt down without being lit on fire. It was slightly off screen so I didn't see the whole thing happen, but it was shortly after a royal guard pig walked into the field. The grass burnt and pig died very quickly and all at the same time.
