Exiting log raft glitches you off-map

Getting off a log raft onto a "stick" of land by clicking on the edge of the terrain puts you off the map. Note that there was a separate body of water on the other side of the roughly one or two stone wall thick piece of land i tried to get on. When off the map you can only get back on by getting back on log raft. I died on the world and didn't think to take a screenshot when it first happened as I was so overcome with the whole experience of this wonderful dlc.
