unable to apply (item) skin

I own these skins.

However, when I make an attempt to create a backpack with "runsack" skin by clicking the arrow, it just creates a normal bag without giving me a choice. This issue applies to other structures/items such as fire pit.

Steps to Reproduce
This occurs every day. Just provide me a reasonable solution or find the impediment and fix it for the unfortunate users like me.

I believe your problem was solved from your reddit post where you used the Keyboard and Mouse to choose skins rather than CAPS LOCKS.
