Tragic torch gift don't pop up in main screen any more?

When I finished the cyclum puzzle in April 2017, I received it from a pop up box from the main screen.

I helped a friend with that puzzle yesterday. However, there is no pop up when he enter the main screen.

I'm just a little curious if it's a bug or there is really some change.  (Asked some people in community who recently did the puzzle, they all said the torch didn't show up in main screen.)

PS. the metheus chest and cane still pop up in main screen. 

Steps to Reproduce
Complete cyclum puzzle with a new account, them start the game, sign in (no gift), start a world (receives the gift).
Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I also saw some other people getting their tragic torches in-game, which really surpriced me as I haven't read any announcement about if it was changed... so I guess it's a feature, but I'm not 100% sure.
