The game launches and then crashes.

So I played DST on my laptop a while ago and it worked fine for awhile and I got in a TON of hours in it. And then one day it would open, take me to a black screen and then exit. It would say i was playing and then when it exited it would say that I went to online. I cant remember when it happened but eventually I went on an older computer of mine and it worked perfectly for a while. Me and my buddy got to day 108 before it would do the same thing again. I don't know why its doing this but the one on the older computer stopped after the salty dog update but i don't know if the updates are crashing my game or not. And I tried to uninstall and reinstall, verify game cache and have no mods on my old computer. Any bit of help would be wonderful.
