Resolution changed when I started game

When I launched the game, the resolution of the game was disproportionately large, disabling me from using options properly to disable it, this affects gameplay

Steps to Reproduce
I launched the game and the resolution was much bigger than i had it set
Go to bugs

With out DST running, open \Documents\Klei\DoNotStarveTogether\client.ini in any text editor

There should be a [GRAPHICS] section in the file, delete all the entries in this section

Now start DST, it should now be using default settings

Then starting DST, which was configured fullscreen and working on the notebook, it showed like 4 times as large and not being able to access all menus. I'm using the remote device only. Is it possible that DST reads the total resolution of both though they are not active?
