Non host players cannot enter cave

My roommate hosts a game, a few of us join. He can enter caves, others can enter caves, I cannot. 

I'm guessing it's a loopback issue with a client and server inside the same router?
Either way, I get disconnected from the game, when I try to enter a cave.

Steps to Reproduce
1) Have buddy on Lan host game. 2) both of you join game 3) he tests cave 4) I jump in cave, says connecting, then it says the "Try yelling louder" error message

Are you joining the game through the friend list in steam? If so, could you try joining the server by opening the game, going to "Browse Games", and then to the "LAN" tab, and let me know if you can enter the caves after joining that way?

I also have this issue. Are you planning on patching it?
