[00:00:03]: FMOD Error: Soundcard does not support the minimum features needed for this soundsystem (16bit stereo output).

If you read your logs, you'll find that error. Have you tried other peripherals for audio output? Also is it only DST that fails to output audio, or other Klei games too? If you have Don't Starve, does it have the same issue?

its the only klei game i have so can't test it and i have a 24 bit, 48000 Hz (studio Quality) atm

but this are all my options :

16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)
16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD Quality)
16 bit, 96000 Hz (studio Quality)
16 bit, 192000 Hz (studio Quality)

24 bit, 44100 Hz(studio Quality)
24 bit, 48000 Hz (studio Quality)
24 bit, 96000 Hz(studio Quality)
24 bit, 192000 Hz(studio Quality)

but not sure what i should choose ?

Sounds like you have a solution, but I also had this issue and was able to solve it in a different way. This was the solution that fixed it for that I got from reddit so that others can have a solution that may work for them.

"It appears that Don't Starve does not support 24bit audio playback. Setting my speakers to 16bit playback at 48k Hz has fixed the problem.

To do so on Windows, go to the sound section of control panel -> playback devices tab -> Select speakers -> Properties -> Advanced -> Set default format to 16 bits 48000 Hz.

Hope this helps someone else."
