When I try to enable a crashed mod, it appears to enable as normal, but starting the server, clicking on the mod to view its information, or viewing the number of enabled mods reveals that the mod is not actually enabled.
I cannot reproduce this with other mods, because for some reason, crashing a server no longer disables its mods. This mod has been on the "crashed" status for some months; are mods no longer disabled upon a crash? If that is the case, perhaps the game no longer knows what to do with the crashed/disabled status.
Actually, upon looking at the log myself, I found that the actual cause is more subtle: the mod was missing the "forumthread" field, which caused an error loading modinfo.lua. So, actually, the bug is that mods missing this field are silently ignored. Perhaps have an error message show up, or just make forumthread an optional field.
1. Delete a mod's "forumthread" attribute. (delete it entirely; setting it to an empty string does not cause a bug) 2. Try to enable it on a server.
