Killing Level 2 Shadow creature glitchs level 1 ones

This happened both times I attempted repeat the glitch after the first time.

I suppose this is a issue in the set requirements for leveling up a Shadow Piece

Steps to Reproduce
Spawn a Rook and a Bishop, Kill the Bishop so the Rook will level up. Spawn a Knight and then Kill the Level 2 Rook. The knight will be frozen

@spiderdian I'm having a hard time reproducing this. Does it happen after the Tuesday night update (193664)? If so can you validate your game cache via steam and see if it still happens?

Did the knight play the "ball of shadow energy" effect while it was trying to level up?

Does it stop animated or stuck in a loop?

No, it freezes right after I kill the rook. It stops animating, I'll validate my cache and check
