After a power failure in the middle of a game of DST in which I was running the server I was unable to start the game again. The game would launch, a black window would appear, and then it would crash. Attempts to verify the integrity of the files, uninstall/reinstall (after backing up the files), etc. did not resolve the issue.
Only after accepting to be part of the beta did it launch again, seemingly without issue.

I attempted to revert to the non-beta and found that once again it would not launch. Returning, once again to the beta once more resolved the issue.
