I can't eat / use self with anything with cave added

For some reason If i created a world with caves added I can't eat / use self with any item, food, healing , etc and if a friend join me they can't do it too, can anyone help ?

Steps to Reproduce
make a world with caves and try to eat / "use on self " command
Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I noticed this too, I believe that they were using a controller. I couldn't use/eat anything either, since I also used a controller. Even if I changed binds. Hoping for a fix soon.

Friend has the same issue but it's due to playing with a controller, since it resolved when he switched to keyboard
