Hud bugged

I received a gift of don't starve together yesterday, i played with my friends and the first time i joined my friend's game my hud was bugged, it was like the hud from normal Don't Starve but without the part of the ítems and the craftings. i joined with the mods http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=352373173" (Gesture Wheel) and "http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=345692228" (Minimap HUD).
I Disconnect from the server, i re-joined and the hud was fixed

When i first joined the server i played normally, after a few minutes the game send me an error and i had to leave the server.
i dont know what exactly that message of error says, but it was very long.
