Don't Starve Crashing 1 Minute into Gameplay

Game is booting up fine, but 1 minute or so into gameplay of hosting my own server in DST, the game crashes. I have ran all of the suggestions located here: http://support.kleientertainment.com/customer/portal/articles/1854779-dst-is-crashing-dst-won-t-start

This is the first time I have ever played the game, and my Google searches aren't giving me anything.

I have also tried installing the game once on my main drive (SSD) and one on my slave drive (HDD). Same results.

Let me know if anything else is needed. Attached are my DxDiag and client_log files. I was not able to find an .mdmp file.

Steps to Reproduce
First time playing game, hosted server to mess around with it. 1 minute or so into game, I get the dont_starve_steam_exe error and game crashes.

I am having the exact same issue. Debugging with Visual Studio shows that the top of the stack trace is: 

dontstarve_steam.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x01200DDC.
