we couldn't join the server cuz we logged out in the caves before the update yesterday.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

My friends have the same problem. I am the host of the server so i could connect, but after the update they can't. And we are on Day 470 ready to kill Ancient Fuelweaver... :(
