Cannot unbind "inspect self" action from "i" button

Hi,

I just downloaded DST, and when I played Don't Starve I made my controls such that my up/left/right/down was i/j/l/k, respectively. However, when I play DST and I press the i button on my keyboard, the "inspect self" screen shows up. I double and triple checked my control settings and set the inspect self action to a separate key and can trigger the action with that key, but I cannot remove the ability to inspect self with the i keyboard button. I would like to be able to remove this feature, because it is very distracting and blocks the screen when I try to move around. I can't find anything like this when I try to search online. I would hate to change my move keys.
