My game won't start; it'll just show a black screen. I have verified integrity of game files (one file needed validating). This did not fix it. I uninstalled and re-installed, and then verified integrity again. I removed and deleted all mods. I made sure the game is using the correct graphics card. I rebooted my computer. I re-installed VCredist and DXSetup manually.
I'm at a loss for what the problem could be. I've ran Don't Starve Together on this computer before, as well as the dedicated server. (As an aside if it matters, I've also run Don't Starve solo on this computer).
Once, after I unsubscribed from and deleted all my mods, I got a visual on the game; I got a loading screen for the Forge. This only happened once and the game crashed anyways soon after, but I was not able to repeat this phenomenon; all future instances all showed up a black screen and game has stopped working without fail.
It always just crashes when I open the game.
