Beefalo mate at day one?

I was playing Don't Starve Together with a friend, and then suddenly when i'm running trying to find beefalo as wigfrid to camp near. I see beefalo already starting to mate at day one. My friend said he didn't change any settings and went with default. I already killed one thats mating, I tried googling the problem/solution and found no one talking about it.

Steps to Reproduce
1. I was collecting twigs and flint and wood, the usual in the beginning. 2. I really have no idea.

Indeed. This would happen if the game started in spring. Do you still have this game around? Could you start up the game and post the log from the server here? Thanks.

it's random either spring and autumn when you start default world.

I'm +1 to a world started with spring.

My friend deleted his worlds. Il talk to him if he changed settings.
