When wearing Bone Helm, press "f" and characters will still attack shadow creatures, dispite there are other real enemies around (for example hounds), simply because shadows are closer.

Put on a bone helm, try using "f" to attack hounds or spiders that already target the player. It's likly that you'll hit those neutral shadow creatures.
