Howdy.
Unlike most other followers in the game, Smallbirds and Lava Larva cannot jump onto the boat with the player.
Pigs, befriended hounds, Rabbits, Chester, Catcoons(Shocker.) and other friendlies can board the boat, but testing has gone to shown that Smallbirds and Lavae won't follow me onto any raft.
Steps to Reproduce
Become a proud parent of either a Smallbird or a Lava Lavae, then notice they won't board rafts with you.
