Glass cutter is supposed to have double durability against shadows, and while it works correctly for shadows, nightmares, shadow pieces and Fuelweaver, against shadow splumonkeys durability is the same as against non-shadows. I don't know, whether it is intentional, so decided to post here.
Steps to Reproduce
1. Generate the world and go to the caves.
2. Go to the ruins and wait until nightmare phase.
3. Give yourself glass cutter and spawn splumonkeys (which will instantly turn into shadow splumonkeys).
4. Use glass cutter and count how much monkeys you can kill before glass cutter breaks (for Wes it is 25 instead of 50, for example).
