The darkness that happens as a result of killing the Celestial Champion lasts forever, unless you relog. Relogging will cause the normal day/night cycle to resume (even if less than a day has passed since killing the Celestial Champion).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Kill Celestial Champion

2. Wait (or use LongUpdate) and see that the darkness never goes away.

3. Relog to get the day night cycle back to normal.

Did you make sure you waited for a new dawn?

If you didn't wait for a new day, then this was intended.
If you did wait, and it's still dark however, this should be bugged.
