Permanently stuck like this, game didn't properly crash. Log is included below.

Steps to Reproduce
-Spawn squid -Attack it -Get hit by ink

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

It shouldn't crash now on the next update, but the screen splat won't show yet. That'll be in the update after that.
