Frozen screen with game working on the background

This started happening with the Return of Them update, its like a second with lag then the screen freezes and i can still hear the simulation working on the background, i can press escape key, (i can listen the menu popping) tho unable to see  i have to restart the game, also i disabled all mods to make sure that it kept happening and verified the game files integrity with steam.

Edit: Ok so i just managed to press disconnect from the server button when the frozen screen event happened and i got this
