Fire pump reappears after burnt

The real issue here is that the water pump is flammable in the first place.

I was about to post this bug, here is some img support

burnt fire pump still able to function and put out fire if it is on the boat

because it is made of board?

maybe they can change the board to be cut stone/eletrical doodad, make it not flammable

The thing is you can not use the pump if it is smoldering. You needto extinguish it first, which can cost some valuable time.

It's just so... counter-productive to have a fire extinguisher that is itself susceptible to fire. Oh, no, my boat is burning. Let me extinguish my fire extinguisher so I can use it to extinguish the fire.

The recipe is fine imo. You can see the wood on the pump after all. And we could always say the spittlefish protects the wood from catching fire or something. (I mean, hey, butterflies drop butter.)
