Can't Create Custom Server (US)

I live in Florida and I cannot create a custom server. I get "Network Error: Failed to connect to event server" every time I try. twitch.tv/knottahooker

Try to create custom server.
Go to bugs

I'm having the same problem from Kansas. Tried both Public & Steam group. Both fail to connect to server.
