This happened when I used my winch on a sunken pink object while the boat was moving.
Made Various Edits for clarification and also made a video. May not be because the ship was moving, as I once tried to pick up the object while not moving and I crashed as well. I had no mods turned on either.

Step To Reproduce
1. Find a sunken pink object (unless if all sunken objects are pink)
2. Row over to it (I used a paddle in the crash instance)
3. Right when the ship winch is over the pink object, use the winch. (The ship speed might make it vary,)
4. The game crashes.
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
