Winter not working properly in RoG as Warly

I started a RoG save as Warly a little while after the last update and now it's winter. It plays the winter music, it has the winter lighting, I'm as vulnerable to freezing as any other winter, and several flocks of pengulls spawned the way they usually do in winter, but I'm still seeing redbirds and butterflies spawning. Also, it's hard to be sure, but I think grass, saplings, mushrooms, and berry bushes are growing back even though that's not supposed to happen.

Steps to Reproduce
Start a RoG save as Warly and begin the game in autumn. Survive until winter and go to a place that has flowers. Look at some birds and berry bushes.

@CameoAppearanceThanks for the report, we're looking into it. Do you have any more details on the issue? Was the world generated with custom settings? Are you using any mods?

Thanks.

Same problem here! I do't use mods. World default! And another: no blue birds in winter!

No mods enabled, I only use them for DST.

I did customise the world generation: I set spiders to More, Volt Goats to More, treeguards to either More or Lots, mandrakes to More, and touchstones to Lots. I don't remember making any other changes, and I wasn't using a preset; I changed those settings manually. I didn't change the seasons at all, or the birds, and I'm fairly sure I didn't change the butterflies.

The crows and incongruous redbirds have been dropping seeds, I'm pretty sure I saw it happen and I've certainly noticed a lot more seeds on the ground than there normally are in wintertime. I definitely saw butterflies spawn from the flowers around my base after winter had set in and there was snow on the ground.

It's day 29 in my save; more than halfway through my first winter, but I haven't seen the Deerclops. I don't know if that's meaningful, though, because he's not guaranteed to appear every winter on default settings and he might still show up in a few days. I haven't encountered any other winter mobs other than the pengulls, but I hadn't found any MacTusk camps anyhow.

The winter seemed weirdly mild for the first couple of days; I'd get the ice crystal effect on my screen, but my temperature didn't dip low enough to take damage and the first snowfall wasn't until like day 23. Don't know if that's a bug or just unusually good luck with the weather. I did get cold enough to take freezing damage during a rainstorm in late autumn, I think day 18. I was able to fertilise my crops on the first day of winter, but I've always been able to do that because it doesn't generally become too cold until the following night. (I got two sweet potatoes, a carrot, and a durian. I don't think the sweet potatoes were supposed to be there either.)

I also had a glitch in late autumn where I was at my base trying to plant some butterflies I had in a stack of 3 and they vanished from my inventory while still green without seeming to have been dropped or turning into butterfly wings; I didn't see them reappear in the world, they just kind of disappeared. The butterfly thing confused me briefly because I thought it was why I still had butterflies around the flowers in my base even though it was winter, then remembered that even if butterflies are around when they're not supposed to be they'll still go to a flower and despawn if they can find one. I don't know if this has anything to do with anything but it seemed worth mentioning in case the glitches are somehow related. (Speaking of other glitches, I'm also having the glitch where berry bushes don't show up on the map screen. That influenced my base placement; I set up camp in a deciduous forest near mushrooms instead of a grassy biome near berries.)

If it helps, this game is in save slot 3, and I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium.
