  1. Past hour
  2. Lag Compensation made Wilson miss a very important cue (and to a lesser extent one at 23s) please fix.
  3. I'm not sure about your carrots. The lazy forager was able to pick those up for me. I'm also not sure about your null zone of pickup, that does not exist for me either. But the fruitcake has code to specifically stop auto pickups. So.. as designed? If you can give me more info on the other problems, let me know.
  4. Why does lureplant need to not work on the werepig? Why is AFW having a timer to prevent out of bounds fine? These just remove player choices, I could understand some bosses being special but most of the new bosses are very similar with fatigue and charge mechanics and can't be cheesed using normal methods and the fights are usually done in the simplest way using a weapon and kiting. I am just giving an explanation that most players arguing to keep this change don't really have valid reasons, you may have them as I have not seen you discuss much on the beta forums. Its not a comparison 1 to 1 because it doesn't need to be to prove my point that some people don't want bosses to be easy yet these methods still keep them easy, they are more time consuming and require resource gathering or swapping character but that doesn't mean that boss isn't easy with them. My point is that no matter what you do you aren't forced to use lureplant and you are just limiting other players from playing the game in the way they want and no one has ever come close to giving me a good argument against this. Only one was acceptable, that players using exploits/cheese can be first to kill the boss while the player that is gathering resources needs to wait for respawn and this doesn't really happen almost ever for fuelweaver as pub players won't usually fight that boss and players that want to kill FW will do it before spring ends as players that want to cheese need to wait for near the end of spring to have lureplants. What is borrowed time to you? 5 years+? A lot of the exploits and cheese have existed since release of the bosses that they are used against or even for the previous bosses. Brightshades weren't supposed to be the only mob coming out of the rift and players complained for a valid reason, it has been like a year and that is the only mob we have?
  5. Indeed, you need to be a part of the fight, not just an observer.
  6. After trying for a couple times it finally oppened!
  7. Klei isn't perfect, but people seem to like assuming the worst from them. There have been some cases that would make this mindset understandable to exist, but it isn't fair regardless.
  8. I think this role is mostly filled by gnarwails, but they for some reason don't attack Webber/Wortox, only npc monsters.
  9. The problem with Wig's kit is that it is quite powerful without the songs so its hard to justify the songs being much better. I get the frustration of wanting more, but I'm not sure there is much room to ask without changing what the songs are. Passives are generally too powerful without being felt, and Wig is loaded with passives. Also idk about her getting no screen time. I feel the change to containers allowing them to be opened from inside the inventory and specifying how this allows them to be used on Beefalo was spurred by her anti-synergy of getting a song case and beefalo perks. I remember pointing this out in her refresh beta, and I was really pleased to see the change get made. Sure its convenient for everyone, but I feel the real *reason* to change it was her. Otherwise I agree.
  10. Does every wigfridge song need to be intresting? Not every wicker book is intresting, wilson transmute, or even woodies perks in some aspects. Gotta have some mundane for the good perks to shine, you know like spawning in with a weapon, headgear and ability to lifesteal.
  11. Is this Maxwell's fault or some exploits that were always living on borrowed time.
  12. Even without mods my worlds won't open. It stays on connecting page but never open.
  13. Hi, thank you for your advice. Unfortunately, I can not reset my settings using the controller (joystick). in the game's lobby settings, because the apply button is not binded. so I have only one way to play a game by using a keyboard. Could you please advise me on which file I should modify to fix it? thank you
  14. It's not. The Nightmare Werepig on the surface was almost certainly a beta-specific thing to make it easier for testing and getting player feedback on the fight: just like how the Scrappy Werepig was made to exist simultaneously with the Nightmare Werepig during the last beta, to make sure they got good feedback about the fight before putting it into its proper place in the progression. We can see Klei doing things like this as early as 2017: the ability to kill the Antlion was intentionally left out of the update that added her, for the sake of seeing how players would work around the sinkholes without the option to simply kill her, because otherwise they would've gotten worse feedback from people opting to just remove the threat entirely via the combat option. Nightmare Werepig always had a shadow-y ruins aesthetic and two giant shadow-y pillars that required a pick/axe to break down. It's very very likely that Klei was just doing that thing they do in betas sometimes. Pure Horror and Dreadstone were pink because everything in the ruins is pink, they were changed to red when it was pointed out enough that the pink in the ruins is turned into red by the filters there and the Nightmare Werepig wasn't in those filters. We gave feedback that caused them to fix a mistake, not to change an intentional design.
  15. No, it works like that. The console version is a port, the functionality for keyboard and mouse is present. That is entirely the choice of Microsoft - We have macro's and rapid fire button presses here too Mike, it's infinitely easier as it's free. +1
  16. Today
  17. The Shadow Fire-Raiser is top tier now. It hits its target(s) very reliably (earlier the flames were super wonky and did not seek out their targets most of the time) even if you stand back quite a distance. It also benefits from the gestalt attack from the Enlightened Crown which results in an even a more massive burst of damage. If you prefer to stand back and attack from afar it has become very viable in some battle scenarios (battles surrounding dishing out damage on a single target, without more involved mechanics). For certain bosses it feels a bit too good, yet rather satisfying since you need still need to procure Ethereal Embers.
  18. I mean, it's entirely possible they intended to move him down there later regardless but there's not any reason to think that'd be the case. You could argue that Klei's plans would be more set in stone than that but this was the same update where we convinced them to turn pure horror/dreadstone red instead of magenta.
  19. Thank you so much! I'll see if resetting it back to WASD will fix it. Thanks!
  20. I know he was on the surface during the beta, my question was more whether it's true that people had to "convince" Klei to put him in the caves.
  21. Hi there — I'm having this same issue. PS4 Dualshock controller and a MacBook Pro. Cannot start server. Seems that both the OPTIONS and the SHARE buttons say "-no bind-" when they would need to be used.
