  1. Oooh, wasn't expecting a board game, but that's super cool! I'll be keeping an eye on that for sure! And thank you for the update, as always!
  2. I finished taming a beefalo during spring. The beefalo spawned a baby and I left them by the bell and now wherever my character goes, a new baby beefalo will appear. There are no other beefalos nearby and my tamed beefalo is far away. Other than the first one, the baby beefalos aren't bonded to the tame beefalo and behave like orphaned baby beefalos. I personally find this absolutely hilarious, but now that my character has already spawned 3 additional babies, I'm pretty sure this is not supposed to happen. I herded two of the new babies near my tamed beefalo and the original baby for comparison, but the new babies try to return to wherever they spawned. I don't use any mods. The world was set in the relaxed mode with default settings and no caves. I was playing alone.
  3. Made a quick doodle of Bruno the Beefalo. I just got into beefalo taming and this is the one I got for Winona. A bit of a mix of the Flowery and Victorian style there. (as a small note, I just got a new PC that displays colors much brighter, so the colors in my art might look muted in comparison. The colors in my old art burn my eyes on this screen. xD )
  4. Awesome stuff!!! These look really good and I'm glad you decided to join so we get to see your art! I'm looking forward to see more! ^^
  5. "He is cold... but alive." Winters in the Constant aren't easy. It can be a good idea to split into small parties to gather resources or explore the terrain, but if your curiosity brings you so far from the camp that you can't make it back before the cold season, it could get dangerous... Wilson here was poorly prepared. He almost made it back, but it started snowing heavily. The others found him collapsed, nearly buried in the snow. Ironically the heavy snow cover was the reason he was still alive - even if just barely - without it he'd have frozen much faster in the cold. Hopefully the other Survivors can get some warmth into him before it's too late... ...or whatever other thing you imagined happening here, I just wanted to come up with something for this lovely wintery scene. xD EDIT: Adding a little follow-up image because of someone's tags on Tumblr.
  6. A little gift for Sapphire / Chafi / Zafiro for always providing the most adorable art (comics!!!) when it comes to Webber and his found family ❤ So here's a Wilson with the Baby! ^^ I was actually supposed to be drawing three other things, but I ended up procrastinating all of them and drew this instead. But gift doodles are never a waste of time since they make someone happy, so I'm not complaining. ^^
  7. Amazing art! I really like your style and the use of body language, it's very expressive! ^^ I love Wilson too, so I'm always happy to see more art about him. Also Charlie!!! Welcome to the forums, looking forward to see more of your art!
  8. While everyone else is making art of the really intense scenes from the animated short with cool Chess symbolism and roses, my inspiration decides to fixate on a random detail like "HAT! " I guess after being sick for over 3 weeks, I can allow it to do that, so here is the hat: Yes, I'm aware there was an umbrella as well, but I wasn't in the mood for rainy weather. Also, let me just say that their little flashbacks were absolutely adorable! Edit: Adding this little ficlet here since it doesn't require its own post. I wrote this some time before the Maxwell animated short came out, and while what happens here is kind of the opposite to that one, I feel it's a fitting time to share it now. Enjoy! Rose
  9. Early game fuel can be obtained by trapping rabbits with the shadow prison and using shadow sneak on them. Killing them gives you fuel without the need to even go insane.
  10. Oh yes, I remember your name. It was a lot of fun to watch everyone with their various skillsets and special knowledge work together to figure them out. And you could sense how giddy the devs were watching us from behind the scenes. A clever lot, both Klei and the fans! I did my part too, but I don't think I was ever the first to figure something out so never had the honor of cracking a mystery. But that didn't matter since it was just fun to be a part of something like that and contribute ideas. The forums practically became another game - a game that I loved just as much as I loved the actual Don't Starve. xD Good times! And it looks like there might be something hidden in this one too. Probably not something like THAT (not when Klei has been this busy already!), but something. I guess we'll see. ^^
  11. Thank you so much, Klei! I was here when the William Carter puzzles were uncovered piece by piece and seeing this now fills me with so much warm nostalgy! Clearly there is still a lot of story to tell and I'm here for the ride! Always loved both the game(s) and the lore content we get outside of it and how they complement each other. I'm so happy to be here and see these updates and lore. They are amazing!
  12. Made a couple of quick surprise gift doodles. The Maxwell with no pants is for @rhoddys And the Fawnson (again with no pants, which seems to be the theme of the week xD ) and his little Fuzzball are for Tinukie / Tin_u_Key (make some noise if you are on the forums so I can tag you properly) - with a bonus hound. I've been reading their in-game shenanigans with amusement, and at some point amusement turns into inspiration. ^^
