When the Forge returns...

Will our levels and achievements be reset? If they aren't, there won't be much incentive for majority of the community that've already experienced all the Forge has to offer to play the event again. But on the other hand.. I can see people feeling very frustrated at having to do all the character achievements all over again for completion's sake, and also possibly being able to farm spools for the next events if they have all they need already, especially those who purchased all the skins..

Your thoughts?

When the Enter The Forge button is first pressed after the Forge re-release update, give any player above level 1 at the beginning a one-time prompt for whether or not they'd like to reset their level.
Or keep and show both. Next to player's lobby portrait, have a Veteran badge with a number. Maybe something extra for people who got every achievement.

klei said they dont want anchivements to give players stuff, they are like challenges , you get some exp but not 100% something so its still to rng.

Point was being able to reset previous players achievements so they could get the XP again without the completionists feeling like they're been kicked in the

Personally I don't support a Forge level reset. What good would it come from it?

For low level players it wouldn't really make any difference.

For high level players it would only mean that they'll get a ton of xp again, although they are experienced in the Forge already. And seriously, giving a chance to get a ton of spools for those them even tho they already got (most of) the Forge skins?

For the newbies, it'd give them a reasonable chance to compete and catch up in level as they learn.

For experienced players...
It'd give a chance to compete with each other from the beginning, and see how fast they can level up. A goal for vets to pursue.
It'd give people who supported the event the first time a fair shot at the same rewards as brand new players. Unless you're really lucky or have tons of time, it's highly unlikely that you got all or nearly all of the Forge skins the first time around without purchasing. And if you did purchase, nothing wrong with giving the players that actually supported the game a chance at extra spools.
