And even so the four horsemen are War, Conquest, Famine, and death. Meaning in this case it would be famine, and the next ones should be either conquest or death. (I'm only assuming you're referring to the four horsemen.) In any case good catch. I could definitely see the theme being four horsemen of the apocalypse. EDIT: Although now that I think about it... the Forge could have been conquest and one of the other events could be PVP. In which case that would be war. Plague and Conquest are the "same" horseman in a way, I don't know much of the technicalities though. I think Conquest was the first name, but then in later scripts it was referred as Plague (or Conquest was removed by Plague for some reason), and usually this is how the modern media portrays them: War, Famine, Plague, and Death; like in Supernatural, or the recent Netflix series The Hollow; in very rare cases it is referred as Conquest (I think in Legends of Sleepy Hollow the horseman is mentioned as Conquest, though his theme is Plague nonetheless -poisoned an entire city and village-). Now, going back to topic. It makes sense this is actually Plague, instead of Famine, but it could easily be both, or maybe a prelude to Plague's world (as in now we have to face the root of the "merm plague"). And for the name, I highly doubt they will go with something as abstract as The Torch... I mean, maybe, but... It could easily be The Plague (yeah, very original xD), or The Pestilence. MrNaxeros Posted June 22, 2018 Share Posted June 22, 2018 I was thinking more that since the first event was Forge, focusing on fighting and not dying, aka focus on health, and now we have Gorge, aka focus on hunger, we would get something focused on sanity. (in Plague times Plague Doctors wear them) Plagued Frogs - From swamps New Biome - The Moss : When you got the special grass and other needed ingrideents for poisons. Then I remembered that his other perk is losing more sanity in the dark. More evidence in favor of a darkness event that the other Gatekeepers are headed to, maybe! If we check the obilisks on the Metheus puzzle we can see in the last picture that the mourning "torch wielder" could be still alive (and escaped via a gate). I mean he/she could be rightful heir of the throne and Charlie wants him/her dead...and the final clash begins in the next event where escorting/protecting the ancient royal from darkness (charlie) is the objective. Maybe a mix of fighting(Forge)/item managing (Gorge) is integrated. Why I think so? Every event world has/had its own leader and the Gatekeepers reached the conclusion of taking over the world by defeating Pugna and statisfying the Gnaw, the main threats of the worlds (kinda confirmed by Pugna). Wumpus the 19th Posted July 13, 2018 Share Posted July 13, 2018 Forge is about managing health while fighting monsters in Front Of An Audience Of Pigmen Gorge is about managing hunger of a large monster while cooking multiple meals and getting resources, where failing turns you into a merm If you don't see where I'm going with this, the third event might have a focus on sanity, exploration, and might focus on bunnyman or heck, maybe even the rock lobsters. Klei, if this what you have planned, that's awesome, but if your going to use my theory on this pattern to make it, 1st, give me some credit (optional) or 2nd, port to Xbox earlier than multiple days late (wumpus is now Xbox crybaby confirmed). Because the Forge have direct combat with mobs and battle makes people excited so easily. I really miss that throwable Lucy Axe which makes Woodie so cool and funny.
