it seems i got the problem: a registry key was corrupted due to an uninstallation using an original windows uninstaller (seriously... it's ridicolous that i have to use IObit's uninstaller instead of microsoft to be sure it won't corrupt my system...wow microsoft....) give me 2 days to re-install the operative system and i'll confirm
