He could use that logo everywhere to spread the Wolfgang-main religion. Note to self: Add Steve Carrel to actors who could play Wilson.
ResettePlayer
Here's Wendy (with bonus Abigail) They're cool. To cool for you. Spoiler Turning off the outline layers resulted in something I found somewhat interesting. Ā I've been considering putting a thread in the Off Topic subforum for art unrelated to Klei games. Would anyone want to see that?Ā At the moment there's nothing to put in there, but it's likely that I'll do something soon. 6

With the way you drew Abigail's hair, it kind of hints the bottom tendrils from her ghost form. Kind of makes it seem like the game sprite Abigail has a beard like Wilsons...Note to self: draw Abigail's ghost sprite as a beard with eyes. Whoa! No wonder you wanted to show that. It's intense. Kind of like those anime effects when a character is serious and their eye shines bright to show their intensity. I'd be for it. A good 25% of my art is non related so nice to see another artist in the off topic. We might even have to suggest a art section in off-topic to make the art community of klei have a place.

That said, Klei has no obligation to have an entire art subforum, as nice as that would be. I'm still waiting for this one to come into fruition:Ā I prefer forum interfaces to things like Discord or even Reddit, especially for art.Ā It just works really well, you know? 11 hours ago, minespatch said: Abigail has a beard like Wilsons I mean, Woodie's ghost illustrates that fairly well. 11 hours ago, minespatch said: a beard with eyes. ResettePlayer
big ol' WELP it appears my tablet doesn't want to tablet anymore, so it may be a while until this series continues. It may be a fixable issue, it may not be. If I can't figure it out, I'll continue the seriesĀ traditionally. Things will diverge from the look I've established, unfortunately. RIP tiny little 2-3 year old Intuos. You helped me draw a lot of crappy fanart. In other, unrelated news, the off topic thread has been created! So there's something for your eyes there, anyway. ResettePlayer
Okay guys, it turns out the tablet issue was fixed with a reboot. Heheh... shoulda tried that in the first place. Whoops. Here's WX-78. Ā They're cool. They don't even need sunglasses. They were a bit more of a challenge, since the eyes are already black circles and their shadow head didn't fit at all with Wes' outfit. After giving them a cool biker cap and scrapping the sunglasses, however, they quickly became my favourite. Spoiler Have a load of sketches. Ā How fast can you run with those foot attachments? So broody. Who thought it was a good idea to give you a gun? Ā I thought, to go with the biker hat, we could have a bike... Ā 10

So that's another series do, huh. Swashbuckling Saga of the Red Resistance Spoiler Wes was the young, handsome leader of the Red Resistance, an uprising against the authoritarian rule of Queen Charlie in Generic Dieselpunk World.Ā The oppressedĀ lower classes finally had enough of the overindulgent, neglectful behaviour of the bourgeoisie. Standard revolution stuff. Wes took many of the lost and impoverished under his wing. Once a nobleman himself, he had the funds to feed and clothe the homeless orphans who then became his most devoted followers. The resistance was growing, and during one fateful riot, the police were ordered to fire upon the protesters. Wes was frontmost, and with six other protesters, he was shot and killed. Having lost their leader much too soon, the resistance nearly dissolved. But Wes' ideology held strong in their hearts, and his furiously-written-on-a-chalkboard speeches still alive in their minds. One robot, cast aside into a scrap heap for not meeting the upper class' expectations of perfection, stepped up to take Wes' place as leader. They dressed as he did, even donning his iconic red scarf. Under their leadership, and in the memory of martyr Wes, the resistance fought on with greater determination than ever before. I still need to do the Beardgod Mythos.

ResettePlayer
I put that Wes on Twitter. Klei did me a solid and retweeted it. It's got 77 likes now-- a fairly large number. Thanks, person who runs the Klei Twitter! (is it Jan? Is Jan the PR man?) Ā Anyway, as a break from all the long-legged coolness around here, have some Wilson expressions. I don't know if I'll ever bring this little comicĀ into fruition, but the gist is that Wilson is having a conversation with Charlie.
ResettePlayer
Speaking of Charlie, I was looking for some clothing reference and I found her. Spoiler Ā There she is. With a big hat. Maxwell on the far right [stares intently] Ā (the actual woman was named Camille Clifford) Her face is more like this woman's, though. Massive eyes, holy moly. Turned up nose, round outline. Ā (Marie Doro) After a brief search for Marie in a black dress, this is what I found. Ā Yeah, I think Marie is going to be my primary Charlie reference. This guy is probably more Maxwellish. I'm getting major Gibson Girl vibes from the photos you showed her. I tried a Gibson aesthetic with Winona(maybe twice) for a piece like this: For MAxwell, I highly recommend checking out some classical Layendecker Arrow Tie advertisments for a particular theme. I used a 20s Maxwell House coffee ad for this one:
