So I just tried out the Adventure Mode mod that came out on the workshop for DST. I will be seperating the screenshots in spoilers based on chapters Mods used were Teleportato, Adventure Mode, Singleplayer Armor Durability, Skin Staff, Singleplayer Mob Health and No Thermal Stone Durability. (Was aiming for a pretty singleplayer experience with this one, Skin Staff was used to get around a bug with Teleportato and skins, and is the only reason why I set the kept items per world to 5 instead of 4. The 5th item was always the skin staff and nothing else.) Prologue: Maxwell's Door. Spoiler Okay I just spawn asleep so maxwell can do his intro, cool beans. Only little bit of console use. Teleported to the gate Chapter 1 of 5: The Game is Afoot. Spoiler If you squint your eyes hard enough you'll see the chapter name above. Ah ol waxmell is here to greet me again! Got this winter hat to start with, and here I go, attempting my survival. Pengulls pls, so many pengulls Went through tallbird hell to a rocky biome with mactusk, some of the tallbirds killed him for me, both tamo and tusk! Double jackpot! . Donned a log suit as I scouted this clockwork area, later grabbed my backpack and chester. We went through pretty well. Ol waxmells got some easilly avoidable traps I see. Waxmell needs some lessons in trap placement. Eventually I managed to get a bunch done and scavage all the teleportato pieces, completing chapter 1 of 5. Got a bunch of prototypes in too. Items kept ------ Walking Cane Tam o' Shanter 12x Monster Meat(Food) 20x Flint Chapter 2 of 5: King of Winter Spoiler Let's go! Ol' waxmell is here to greet me again, suprised I'm actually competent enough to survive. Ahaha... The fire at spawn was suprisingly lacking this time around, I grabbed the backpack with the thermal in it and just used it and my tam o shanter to keep warm. I gathered most the parts, maintaining sanity to get through the obelisk bridges. Here was a bit of the map filled out. The silk in the backpack helped me make a bug net which I forgot to do last time, with the bug net I worked on making the miner hat. Heres a bunch of the map filled out as I forgot to take screenies. Nice insanity obelisk bridge game, ol waxmell left a hole in it, or two for that matter. Eventually I got all the parts and made it to the wooden thing yet again, dispatched the clockworks and made way for chapter 3! Items Kept ------ Walking Cane Miner Hat 9x Monster Meat(Food) 40x Flint Chapter 3 of 5: Archipelago Spoiler Oh boy, here we go, the infamous wormhole island jumping world... Except it didn't have wormholes, more info on that later. Oh hey it's waxmell again with more of his shenanigans, he seems to be getting a little afraid! Abigail does what she does best, bee slaughter. Anywho, the mod completely failed to add any wormholes to this chapter(and two worlds for that matter), meaning this chapter requires the use of RoT's boats to complete. Dislike that requirement? Well I do too, heres hoping it gets fixed. Anywho sailing from island to island I get the parts. I eventually sail up to the final island with all the parts in hand, and proceed to fight my way to the end.(Imgur image cause forums didnt like this one, idk why.) (Sorry for the image above!) And then chapter done! Items Kept ------ Walking Cane Miner Hat 28x Honey 31x Flint Chapter 4 of 5: Two Worlds Spoiler Obligatory intro pic! Oh hey it's waxmell again, and he's not too pleased with my recent doings it seems. Pushing my luck huh? Excuse me for having some experience! Anywho, I did some gathering on the first island, and took a couple screenshots while I was at it. Heres a pig town at night. Oh and pig king was guarded, neat. Once again no wormhole, so paddle time! I paddle to the other island. More of these pesky tooth traps. Was I a bit too hard on ol' waxmell? I never saw the fabled maxwell merm shrine sadly, I just got the teleportato pieces and got out. Though I did run into alot of merms. Heres the rest of the screenies I took in chapter 4. Items Kept ------ Walking Cane Miner Hat 28x Honey 40x Flint Chapter 5 of 5: Darkness Spoiler The final chapter is at hand! Say waxmell... you don't look so good... One angry waxmell later I get to work, oh and hey, the maxwell lights here have accurate quotes! At least for Wendy. More of those pesky tooth traps, this time in the dark! So I gathered more of the teleportato pieces amidst the eternal night. Food started running short, so I was like "Wait hold up" when I saw the killer bees. Abigail went on a genocide and my honey supply was restocked! Eventually I got all the teleportato pieces and found the teleportato. (After a VICTORY FLEX I proceed.) Items Kept ------ Walking Cane Miner Hat 38x Honey 6x Silk Epilogue: Checkmate Spoiler EPILOGUE! CHECKMA.... Wait MaxwellHome? Mod pls... Waxmell what are you doin here go back on the chair. (Man my timing on this screenie LOL) Makin grub with waxmell's crockpots. Making my way to ol' waxmell in his chair. I made a hat with the silk along the way. Thought I'd look all fancy n stuff. He mentions something about Them, I failed to get a screenshot, but he also refers to "they", same thing right? Yo waxmell, ya like mah hat? I eventually wandered over to the teleportato in the epilogue, thinking it would take me back to ol waxmell here, I was suprised to see it took me back to the vanilla constant but with my adventure mode inventory(a fresh new vanilla world), I was dissapointed. I never got to insert the divining rod, now I'm mad. >:( And that marks the end of my adventure mode shenanigans! I'll try it again another time, maybe after yknow, we get some wormholes in archipelago and two worlds thanks. >. EDIT:Hopefully it doesn't look like trash this time, I redid the post.
