minespatch Posted January 25, 2019 Share Posted January 25, 2019 From yesterday and todays playthroughs. Wish I could bring the hat over to hamlet so Wilba could wear it. Due to me using the halloween and christmas mods at the same time, it bugged the smackapalooza with the guardians gone. Also why the king has a white beard as a hogfather. I didn't realize the special hats could be worn by the pigs so I still got to do my parade. Also, debugged the shrines in.I might make a new modless island so I can enjoy the wrestling. I wound up with nearly 3 chests full of logs after his rampage, and I still gotta clean up all the rocks from the petrified trees. On the plus side I got more living logs for dark swords now! Took about 35 krampus or so for it to drop, I guess I got fairly lucky and RNG just decided to not waste my time XD Thanks to Legion's medicinal liquor I was able to do the boomerang bird method despite playing wendy, now I have the celestial portal built in this world so I could've switched to another character to do this, but y'know, can't give up on abigail now. Well in my case it was because of having abigail, one major focus of this modded playthrough is to keep abigail alive. If I changed characters she'd vanish, and all items on her would cease to exist(including the eyebrella I have her hold on to!) The medicinal liquor from Legion is a potion of sorts you make at the crockpot with a fur tuft(not thick fur, the small fur tufts bearger periodically sheds), at least one ice and two filler. Although filler is fairly restricted, only accepting fruit, vegetables or more ice as filler. I tend to do tuft, ice, carrot, carrot to make it thanks to having a bunnyman farm >.< The Liquor increases damage by 50% for one ingame day, effectively putting wendy at wigfrid damage for a single day. (Also the boomerange were shadow boomerangs, which if they had 1 more damage as wendy I wouldn't even need the liquor, sadly they only do 24 damage with wendy's penalty, meaning it's either leave every bird at 1hp or use the liquor to guarentee a 1hit). A side effect of the liquor is it causes you to sleep for a fairly lengthy bit of time, but if you get hit by an enemy or use the liquor while standing on fire, you can avoid the sleep at the cost of being very slow for longer then normal. But yeah my method for farming the krampus sack is one normally done as anyone except wendy or wes, since anyone else can 1hit birds with a boomerang, but hey, this is a modded playthrough, and while I prefer to fight the big raid bosses like Dragonfly or Bee Queen with vanilla equipment and methods, I will make use of the mods in this playthrough for other things!
