Terra B Welch Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 So I made this trash fire of a modpack. I question my own sanity IRL sometimes. It's called "The Gourmands' Curse" and it's as godawful as it sounds. Just look at it! The text can't even stay in the box!(And the border blocks out one O, one E and half of one S!) But for those who really care, I basically tripled my max hunger and my hunger rate, aswell as doubled my max sanity and the sanity multiplier for gains/drains overtime. (I.E. Sanity clothing, insanity auras, Etc.) So basically it made food 1/3 as effective in the hunger department, and 1/2 as effective in the sanity department. Combined with a bunch of food related mods I decided to mess around for a few days. Heres a cherry forest, I counted that mod as a food mod due to it having cherries as food and a few crockpot recipes. Sorry catcoon but my character needs more food then a ravenous wolfgang at this point. Rest in peace pig, your meat and feet were tasty. That was my price for avenging his death later. Probably the most interesting screenshot here, the two knight and two bishop setpieces in one spot. I ended up with 12 gears after this encounter. Still gotta get Webber and Willow, but that's for another day. And their codes worked too! (Dunno why they wouldn't) Had to make sure they were the skin I defaulted to when crafting said items too, So here's a pic of my "Skin Config" world where I just use creative mode to set the skin the crafting defaults to so I don't gotta remember to do it in a legit world >.< Complete with my wenderp posing with my two new skins. I actually prefer default to rider. 34 base damage lets me 3-hit-kill frogs/spiders with regular/racing saddle, speed difference of 7 vs. 8 isn't big, and war saddle still allows 2-hit-kill spiders/frogs and 1-hit kill Birchnutters. I found out i could barely get any hits in, so i set Lag Compensation to Off. Everything looked chunky af, but i could kite - so i did. And kite i did indeed as i fought the Dragonfly long and hard, whittling down its' enormous HP. The lag got at its' strongest when the Lavae showed up, and i had to rollback countless times. Thus, one can simply imagine my triumph at slaying this beast this time around. And here is my monsoon season routine: > slay the Tiger Shark and its kittens > make a Shark Hat and a Dumbrella > go out searching far and wide for the Volcano, for Yaarctopus, and for Packim Baggims.
