For me it works the other way around, I hate losing to a silly foe much more than accepting defeat at the hands of a serious opponent. Definitely not strangers without voice chat, there is no pointless dart Wendy in the group, and we 100% did not nearly get wiped by the fourth pig wave or fail to call a meteor during the Boarrior pig wave and somehow recover from only Wicker still standing. Getting a nice competent team to quickly beat the rhinos to earn that daily 5000xp with. No toxicity, no extreme noobage, just a quick rhino kill before I relax for a while then fall asleep. See? Not all randoms are toxic or noobs. Sometimes you get that good party that can actually pull through, feels good man. :3 I did have one friend in this party, but the rest were randoms. With unspooling a few dance dupe emotes, I finally got the fridge. Just need to get the nox helmet, Woody's magma coat, and Wes's pimpernel suit.
